My name is Brian Goff and I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, and writer currently living in Calgary.
I was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland where I learned to love drawing, Adobe software, and the ocean. In 2004, I attended Toronto’s Sheridan College where I completed a one-year foundation arts program that covered drawing, painting, design, and writing.
In 2005, a division of Lorimer Publishing hired me to illustrate a satirical history book for kids. It was a thrill to be officially pubished at the age of 20, and an even bigger one to stumble upon the book on store shelves. That same year I returned home to Newfoundland to enroll in Memorial University’s business program. Working for various clients along the way, I earned my business degree in late 2009.
In 2011, I moved to Calgary to work for an upstart consulting firm and ended up working on some exciting and high-profile branding projects, and now I’m working exclusively on branding and design projects for private clients. I am also developing microstock portfolios and independent writing projects.
In my spare time, I love movies, working out, heavy metal, and dabbling in music production and screenwriting.
