THE CALGARY FALCONS

Designed a logo for a friend of a friend’s local beer league hockey team in Calgary. The team was called the Falcons so I came up with a logo consisting of a falcon in the shape of a letter “F”. The logo was printed on the team’s jerseys and used in their games. Really fun project. Designed with hand sketching and Adobe Illustrator.

More vector explorations ... once I had the general shapes down, I played with different angles and details in the wings
Alternate concept: tried a more conventional approach, the "animal holding a hockey stick" concept ... I thought this was stupid
